
Ingredients:-
Basmati rice – 1 cup
Mushroom – 1 cup
Peas – ½ cup
Onion – 1
Tomato – 1
Green chili – 4
Ginger, garlic paste – 1 Tsp
Cloves – 3
Cinnamon stick – 1’ inch
Star anis – 1
Bay leaf – 1
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Mint and coriander leaves – 1 cup
Water – 1 ½ cup
Lemon juice – 2 tsp

Method:-
Grind the cloves and cinnamon stick and keep aside. Same way grind mint leaves, coriander leaves and green chili and make a fine paste.

Once it is done, heat a pressure cooker and add oil and then add grinded cloves and cinnamon powder, star anis and bay leaf. Then add ginger garlic paste and fry for few minutes and add onion & fry till it turns into translucent and then add mint, coriander leaves and green chili paste and cook till the raw smell goes. Then add tomato to the frying mixture and cook for 3 minutes or till it becomes soft. Once it is done add mushroom, peas and fry for 5 mins and add rice, water and salt and mix it well. Close the pressure cooker and allow 1 or 2 whistle and wait till the pressure releases. Finally add lemon juice and serve hot with raita.
