This recipe I got from manjulaskitchen and it is a very delicious biscuits. I have done this biscuit many times and it tastes very good. You can also do many varieties in this recipe by adding some chocolate chips or milk chocolate etc. The recipe which I am giving is the basic recipe.

Ingredients:-
All purpose flour – 1/3 cup
Sooji – 1/3 cup
Gram flour – ½ cup
Baking soda – 1/8 tsp
Cardamom powder – ¼ tsp
Unsalted butter – ½ cup or 1 stick of butter
Sugar – 2/3 cup
Sliced almonds – 1 tsp
Sliced pistachio – 1 tsp

Method:-
Butter should be in room – temperature.
In a bowl mix all – purpose flour, sooji, gram flour, baking powder, salt and cardamom powder and keep aside. Add butter and sugar in a separate bowl and beat well for 2 – 3 minutes or till sugar mixed with butter.

Once it is done add the flour mix to butter and sugar mixture and knead them together to make smooth dough. Divide the dough into about 24 equal parts and make them into balls.

Once it is done take a ball and press each ball between your palms lightly; each piece should be about 3/4′ inch thick. You can place a small piece of almonds and pistachio in the middle or draw a tic-tac design on the top and place the few almonds, pistachio pieces.

Place these biscuits on a lightly greased cookie sheet

and bake at 375 degree for 13 – 15 minutes or until it turns light brown.

Biscuits from oven
Once it is taken from the oven, allow them to cool down for 5 minutes and serve it.
