Ingredients:-
Urad dal – 1 cup
Raw rice – 1 cup
Coconut – 1
Sugar – 2/3 cup (depends on your taste)
Cardamom powder – ¼ tsp
Oil – to fry
Method:-
Soak urad dal and rice for 3-4 hrs and grind them by adding water and make a paste. Add salt to the paste and leave these batters to 4-5 hrs. Heat oil and pour 1 Tsp of batter/ paste into the oil and fry it. It should be in round shape. Once it is done, Place all the paniyaram into the coconut milk and serve.
Coconut Milk:-

Extract coconut milk from coconut and add cardamom powder, sugar and mix it well.
Note:-
You can also fry them in paniyaram chatti also (make sure the batter should not be too thick for this).

Ingredients:
Sooji or Rava – 1 cup
Maida – ¾ cup
Sugar – 1 cup
Cardamom powder – ¼ tsp
Oil – to fry
Water – ¼ cup + 3 tsp

Method:-
Mix rava with water (thick paste, water shouldn’t stand on top of it). Keep this mixture for half an hour then add sugar, maida and cardamom powder and mix it well (if you need you can add very little water). The batter should be thick like vada batter.

Heat oil in a pan and once it is heated up add 1 tsp of batter/ thick paste to the oil and fry till it turns into golden brown.
