Gulab Jamun is a most delicious dessert in India, wheras this can be made from scratch- we can make the flour instead of buying from the stores. Here is the recipe.

Ingredients:-

Non-fat milk power – 1 cup

All purpose flour – ¼ cup

Unsalted butter – 3 tsp

Whole milk – ¼ cup

Sugar – 1 ¾ cup (according to your taste)

Water – 1 ½ cup

Baking soda – a pinch

Cardamom power – ¼ tsp

Oil – to fry

Method:-

Sugar Syrup:

In a large pan add sugar, water and cardamom powder and bring to a boil and remove from the heat and keep aside.

Jamun:

In a bowl add milk powder, all purpose flour, baking soda, butter and mix it. Once it is done add milk slowly and make a dough- it might be little sticky. Let the dough rest for 10 -20 mins. Then apply little butter to your hand and mix the dough nice and form a small balls (there should not be any crack in it).

Heat oil in a pan and deep fry it and place it in a paer towel, let it sit down for 2-3 mins before placing it in a sugar syrup. Let it sit in the sugar syrup for 30 mins minimum. Serve with almonds , pistachio or else only jamuns.

If Jamuns are fried in high heat it will be hard in the center, so try to fry in the minimum heat for about 7-8 mins for each jamun.

Add some Tomato ketchup while serving.

Instead of bread you can add more salad leaves and serve as a salad too.

Ingredients:-

Fish – 7-8 pieces

Onion – ½ cup

Tamarind – Big lemon size

Garlic – ¼ cup

Red chili powder – 3 tsp

Tumeric powder – ½ tsp

Curry leaves – 10-12

Coconut – ¼ cup

Oil – 3 tsp

Salt – to taste

For Seasoning:-

Mustard seeds – ¼ tsp

Fenugreel seeds – ¼ tsp

Method:-

Clean the fish and apply turmeric powder and little salt and rub into the fish and keep aside for 5 mins.

Wash the piece again and keep aside. Grind the coconut and keep aside. Soak tamarind for 5 mins and then squeeze the juice and keep aside.
