Chappathi is Indian flat bread made with wheat flour.

Wheat flour – 1 cup

Water – ¼ cup

Salt – to taste

Oil – to fry

Mix wheat flour and salt and then add water little by little and mix it well. If needed add more water and start mixing it till it becomes soft dough. Cover the dough and keep aside for 10 mins. After that make small balls of the dough and roll it into flat chappathi. Add flour if the dough is sticking.

Once it is done, heat a thawa and place the flatted chappathi dough. Turn the chappathi every 10 to 15 seconds. Remove from head once it turns into light brown shade and serve hot with any gravy.
