Poori is one of the hot and delicious breakfasts in south India.



Wheat flour – 1 cup

Water – 1/4 cup

Salt – to taste

Oil – to fry





Mix wheat flour and salt and then add water little by little and mix it well. If needed add more water and start mixing it till it becomes soft dough. Add 1 tsp oil and cover the dough and keep aside for 10 mins.


Poori Dough

After that make small balls of the dough and roll it into thin dough.


Heat a pan and add oil and fry this poori dough. Fry till it becomes light brown color.



Once it is done remove from oil and serve hot with potato gravy.
