Onion Dosai

There are many varieties of dosai and onion dosai is one among it.




Dosai batter (For making dosai batter – see my “basic recipe – Dosai batter”) click Here

Onion – 1 cup




Heat dosa pan and rub it with onion. Once it is hot enough pour a ladle full of batter onto pan and spread evenly. Sprinkle onion on top of the dosai and pour ½ tsp of oil along the edges of dosai.


Once the underside of the dosai turns golden brown, flip it to other side. Once it is cooked on both sides remove from pan and serve hot.


You can also add pepper
