Masala Paste

Heat oil in a pan and add 4 onions and curry leaves, fry for few minutes. Grind all those ingredients, plus add the fried onions and curry leaves and make a fine paste by adding water. Keep these mixtures aside. Heat oil in a pan add remaining onion, green chilies and fry till onion turns into light golden brown. Then add mushroom, salt and fry for few minutes and then add the grounded paste and water, allow these mixtures to boil and forms into gravy. Finally garnish it with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or chappathi.

Instead of chicken masala, you can add coriander powder and chili powder.

For Non- veg lovers you can add chicken instead of mushroom.
